Board of Directors

On Jan.1, 2006 the Southern Manitoba Convention Centre became a corporation. The building itself is owned by the Town of Morris, however the facility is independently run by an appointed Board of Directors that consists of Town Council members, local business persons and members of the community.

This Board Consists of :

Bill Ginter: Chairperson, Town Representative and Personnel Committee

Melinda Deeley: Vice - Chairperson, Member at Large, Personnel Committee and Events & Marketing Committee

Bruce Third: Secretary, Member at Large and Personnel Committee

Dave Smith: Town Representative, Finance Committee and Properties Committee

Shawn Graydon: Valley Agricultural Society Representative, Finance Committee and Events & Marketing Committee

Gavin Van Der Linde: Town Representative, Finance Committee and Properties Committee

Robert Manness: Wellness Centre Representative and Properties Committee

Curtis Recksiedler : Curling Club Representative, Events & Marketing Committee and Properties Committee

The Board of Directors meet once a month to discuss all matters related to the running of the facility.
